On April 23, 2019 Dior Men released its Fall/Winter collection online. The collection is insprired by the retro-furturistic artwork of Hajime Sorayama who is a 72 year old Japanese artist. Hajime's is famous for his pin-ups of robotic women in suggestive poses, but he also sometimes does robotic animals such as dinosaurs.

One accessory in the collection that has caught peoples eye was a saddle bag that costs nearly $30,000. People were shocked to see such an expensive bag and wondered why it was so expensive. The reason the bag is so expensive is because it is rare, brands like to add rare and expensive items to their brand for collectors to buy. For example, collector buy art for up to 100 million dollars which is probably 100 times the price the artwork was sold for originally. People also buy these pieces just to resell them for a higher price and make money that way. The rarity of the item also contributes to the price.

The collection its self is really beautiful, seeing art and fashion come together and create unique collections like this are all awesome. The chrome accessories are stunning with a retro-futuristic vibe. The prices for the items in the collection can range from $250 - $1,300 or more. I'd say that this is one of my favorite collection I have seen from dior as they are changing the game up a bit adding art to the mix.
