The lead singer of the band The Neighbourhood, "Jesse Rutherford," Recently released a new album on April 12, 2019. I and other have been waiting for this new album since Jesse's last album "&" which was his first solo album. That album was totally awesome with the song "Blame" being my favorite. So when this new album was announced I had very high expectations and could not wait for the release.

When I listened to the album it did not dissapoint, I have always been a fan of Jesse because of his wacky personality and his profound confidence. The thing I like about Jesse is his evolution and growth over the years for example in his earlier years (2013) the band had an alternative rock feel to it. But if you listen to his/their music now, you can hear more autotune and rap in their songs. This album had a variety of genres in it. It can go from a rap song to a nice slow acoustic guitar song and that is something that doesn't happen often.

My favorite songs from this album would have to be "Hollywood Friends" and "Junkie". The song Junkie is a song about Sydeny Carlson and Blackbear. The two were dating and Jesse thinks Blackbear is a junkie that is using her. My least favorite song on the album would have to be "USAliens."

In conclusion, the new ablum was great and I hope the next album will be just as good as this one.
